Queen's Trust will be the flagbearer for Cheveley Park Stud in the Darley Yorkshire Oaks on Thursday with the owners in the midst of a purple patch and close to posting their best score for a season.

Before Russian Finale finished fifth at Pontefract yesterday, Cheveley Park's previous seven runners had all won, notably Kingsgate Native, who put retirement on hold when scoring at Nottingham on Tuesday. The stud have had eight winners from their last 11 runners.

"We're having such a successful run," said Chris Richardson, managing director of the stud, which is owned by David and Patricia Thompson. "Seven of those winners were for different trainers and four have been by Dutch Art, including Zonderland.
