Charlie Longsdon aiming big as he targets US race again with Hammersly Lake

Charlie Longsdon, who opened the doors of his Oxfordshire stable to nearly 400 people on Saturday, will bid to realise his US dream with highly rated stable star Hammersly Lake.

Owned by Robert Aplin, the recent Perth winner will head to Fair Hills in New Jersey next month for the Grand National Hurdle Stakes, Longsdon revealed, a race he was a close fifth in last year.
