Champion Chase sponsors Betway sign up to ABP initiative

Betway have been announced as British racing's latest authorised betting partner (ABP), one year to the day since the controversial policy was introduced by the sport.

Firms agreeing to ABP status make a voluntary payment to racing from business not currently subject to the levy. In return they are able to to negotiate benefits including sponsorship rights and preferential pricing structures on streaming.

The three-year agreement means Betway's existing sponsorship portfolio can continue while opening up the opportunity for further deals to be signed.
