Chacun Pour Soi tops two-mile chasers but Nube Negra is festival bet

Chacun Pour Soi earned the highest Racing Post Rating from a bumper Christmas period and his win was important for two reasons.

Firstly, it was a big performance. An RPR of 176 is the best by a two-mile chaser for the last two seasons and makes him clear top of the division.

But equally important was the fact that Chacun Pour Soi was completing his fourth race in the space of a year, as niggly injuries had confined him to just three runs in the previous four years.
