Career best but Seventh Heaven an average winner of Irish Oaks

Seventh Heaven posted a big career-best RPR of 115 to land the Irish Oaks at the Curragh on Saturday.

The form ties in nicely with the Oaks at Epsom with the second and third, Architecture (110) and Harlequeen (108), filling the same places in both races.

The winner had to step up markedly on her previous best RPR of 100, but she has been on a steep upward curve this year and improved by a similar margin for each of her two previous wins.
