Caravaggio cemented his place as this year's leading two-year-old colt on Sunday with another impressive success, this time when running right away from his rivals in the Phoenix Stakes.

An improved Racing Post Rating of 119 marks him down as the second-best winner of the Phoenix Stakes in the past decade, with only stablemate George Washington (121) posting a better level in the six-furlong Group 1.
