'We're ready to entertain them' - Henderson fires warning to Mullins raiders
Nicky Henderson had a friendly warning for the big team that Willie Mullins entered to take on hot Sporting Life Arkle Chase favourite Jonbon on Tuesday, saying: "We're ready to entertain them!"
Mullins is responsible for the next five in the betting for a race he has won four times since 2015, with Appreciate It, Dysart Dynamo and El Fabiolo each winning by upwards of 19 lengths in the last four weeks.
But Henderson has taken the Arkle a record seven times since 1991 and Jonbon is quoted at no bigger than 11-8 to make it eight in March after an impressive eight-length success in the Grade 1 Henry VIII Novices' Chase at Sandown last month.
