Will the topweights go to Aintree?

The Gordon Elliott-trained Galvin and Conflated topped the Randox Grand National weights revealed on Tuesday, but whether they will line up in the famous Aintree spectacle is still unknown.

They are set to carry 11st 10lb off marks of 167 but are being aimed at the Cheltenham Festival by Elliott, with Galvin among the leading contenders for the Boodles Cheltenham Gold Cup at around 9-2.

His stablemate Conflated, a surprise winner of the Irish Gold Cup from Minella Indo, is also heading to Cheltenham and is entered in the Ryanair Chase, for which he is available at 10-1 generally.
