Dual Champion Chase hero Moscow Flyer dies at 22

Trainer describes three-time festival hero as the best she has trained

Jessica Harrington has described Moscow Flyer as a "legend in his own lifetime" after the brilliant dual Champion Chase winner died on Friday at the Irish National Stud aged 22.

One of the finest chasers of his or any other generation, Moscow Flyer notched no fewer than 13 Grade 1 wins, the last of which was a 16-length rout in the 2005 Melling Chase at the age of 11.

Less than a month earlier he had regained the Queen Mother Champion Chase crown he had lost to Azertyuiop in 2004 when unseating Barry Geraghty four out.
