Henry Candy has the favourite for Saturday’s Darley July Cup in Twilight Son, but believes it should be the flying younger filly Quiet Reflection who heads the market.

There are 19 possibles for the Group 1 feature after King’s Stand winner Profitable was supplemented on Monday, and Candy is double-handed with Limato, well backed over the weekend to be just two points longer than his stablemate, who is 4-1.

“It wouldn’t surprise me if Limato beat Twilight Son - the BHA handicapper thinks he will as he has Limato rated 2lb higher, which I think is fair enough,” said Candy as he paraded his two hopes at his Wantage stables yesterday.
