BHA rules that Oisin Murphy's 'self-isolating' 2020 winners will stand - for now
But beaten connections have right to lodge objection 'as soon as is practicable'
Oisin Murphy's hold on the 2020 jockeys' title looks safe for the moment, despite him admitting to charges that he violated British racing's Covid-19 protocols following a trip to Greece in September of that year.
However, with the potential for appeals by connections against an ultimately significant number of winners Murphy rode that year, there remains the possibility that could change.
The three-time champion was banned for 14 months at a hearing of the independent disciplinary panel in London on Tuesday after being found guilty on five charges brought by the BHA, including two that related to his trip to Mykonos and subsequent failure to self-isolate on his return.
