Brelan D'As backed to give Nicholls a sixth victory in Caspian Caviar

Caspain Caviar Gold Cup (1.55) hope Brelan D'As has been well backed this morning, with punters expecting the eight-year-old to continue trainer Paul Nicholls' excellent record in the race.

William Hill are as short as 4-1 (from 6s) about Brelan D'As to go one better than when second to Happy Diva in the BetVictor Gold Cup at Cheltenham last month.

Nicholls has won five of the last ten runnings of the £130,000 contest and also saddles the classy Secret Investor.

The Grade 3 handicap has been reduced to 13 runners after Benatar was declared a non-runner due to the going, with Lalor and Riders Onthe Storm taken out of the race on Friday.
