Surprise Kingwell entry for possible Champion Hurdle contender Pic D'Orhy
Betfair Hurdle winner Pic D'Orhy, whose connections have not dismissed supplementing him for the Unibet Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham next month, was on Tuesday among 12 entries for Saturday's rearranged Betway Kingwell Hurdle at Kempton.
The Grade 2 had been due to take place at Wincanton last weekend, but was a victim of Storm Dennis, so has been moved to Kempton.
Quel Destin and Diego Du Charmil have also been entered in the Kingwell by the champion trainer, while Champion Hurdle hope Fusil Raffles leads the Nicky Henderson charge, which also includes the novice Fred.
The Alan King-trained Elgin – off since a Flat outing at Newmarket in July 2018 – is also engaged, as is last year's County Hurdle winner Ch'tibello.

They included The Animal Health Trust, a host of local Riding for the Disabled centres, Racing to School, British Racing School, Lambourn Open Day, RoR Racecourse parades, Jamie's Farm, Park Palace Ponies and The Bridge of Hope.
Nigel Payne, the trust’s administrator, said: “Horse welfare and human interaction with horses and their unqualified therapeutic value are areas we are determined to support as well as the whole area of mental health, which is now receiving the attention it so merits.”
