Botti eyeing Group assignment for Listed winner Aljazzi

Aljazzi, who made her first start since the 1,000 Guineas a winning one in Haydock's Listed Dick Hern Fillies' Stakes on Saturday, could step back up into Group company for her next outing.

Trained by Marco Botti for Derby-winning owners Saleh Al Homaizi and Imad Al Sagar, the daughter of Shamardal was tenth of 16 behind Minding at Newmarket in May, but bounced back under Andrea Atzeni.

"She's going the right way," said Botti. "There are a couple of races in France next month and I think there's a Group 3 for her at Maisons-Laffitte.
