Ascot looks for new backers as Ladbrokes pull out of race

Ascot’s Ladbroke Hurdle will no longer go under that banner after the bookmaker terminated their 15-year sponsorship of the race.

The course is in talks with several potential sponsors for December’s Grade 3 handicap which has been won by the likes of Marble Arch, Sentry Duty and Willow’s Saviour.

One of those potential new backers is understood to be 32Red, who have in recent months added the King George and Haydock's Sprint Cup to their portfolio.
