The BHA is freezing administration fees for participants and racecourses next year having cut its costs by more than £2 million in 2020, and is looking to reduce costs further through a new joint venture with Weatherbys.

Racing Digital is a three-year project designed to create a new digital platform for administering racing and reduce the cost of running the sport.

However, the sport will have to return a seven-figure sum owed to a number of bookmakers as part of the authorised betting partner (ABP) agreements signed in 2016.
