Betting editor Keith Melrose on the dilemma facing Harry Cobden in the King George

First of all, Ruby Walsh had it right from a jockey's perspective. When asked whether Harry Cobden should ride Cyrname or Clan Des Obeaux, he rightly said that Cobden need not commit and we should not expect a decision far in advance of declarations on Monday, if at all.

It was also Walsh who famously picked Kauto Star over Denman in the 2008 Gold Cup. Then he asked rhetorically: "How can you get off the Gold Cup winner?" Cobden would do well to treat that particular piece of advice with caution.
