Baaeed has nothing to fear from Palace Pier and co in QEII cracker says Crowley
Baaeed’s jockey Jim Crowley is revved up for a pulsating QEII clash with Palace Pier, The Revenant and Alcohol Free and believes there are no chinks in the armour of Shadwell’s unbeaten star.
The Prix du Moulin winner, trained by William Haggas, is one of five exciting rides for the former champion jockey at the Qipco-backed meeting where he enjoyed Group 1 success on Madame Chiang in 2014.
The 2,000 Guineas and St James’s Palace Stakes hero Poetic Flare was taken out of the £1.1 million QEII Stakes at the five-day stage on Monday with five-time top-level winner Palace Pier heading the betting at 13-8, marginally shorter than 7-4 second favourite Baaeed.
