Andrew Gemmell has never known anything like it, and the ride is far from over.

Gemmell celebrated the Ladbrokes Trophy Chase win of De Rasher Counter just 24 hours after the more nerve-wracking return to action of his Stayers' Hurdle winner Paisley Park, and now on Monday he is in the running for a prestigious trophy of his own, having been nominated alongside Khalid Abdullah, King Power Racing and Bjorn Nielsen for the Horserace Writers and Photographers Owner of the Year award.

He also has a half-share in recent Cheltenham Grade 2 winner Hang In There, and he has an interest in next Sunday's Hong Kong Vase fancy True Self through his involvement with OTI Racing and their short-term lease. He was in Australia for her Queen Elizabeth Stakes win at Flemington last month, and has not ruled out flying out to Hong Kong later this week to support her again.
