Armory, who created a big impression at the Curragh last month, will represent Aidan O'Brien in the bet365 Superlative Stakes at Newmarket on Saturday.

The son of Galileo was having his second start when scoring by two and a quarter lengths on the opening day of the Irish Derby meeting, and O'Brien, who won the Group 2 with Gustav Klimt two years ago, said: "Armory came out of his Curragh race well and the plan is to run him in the Superlative.

"We're also looking at running Royal Lytham, who was seventh in the Coventry Stakes, in the Group 2 Tattersalls July Stakes on Thursday."

Pistoletto, winner of both his starts before missing Royal Ascot, is also entered but will not run, and O'Brien added: "Pistoletto won't make Newmarket and we'll have to wait a bit longer before running him again."

The trainer confirmed the Darley July Cup as the target for Ten Sovereigns, who finished fourth behind Advertise when favourite for the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot, while I Can Fly, third in the Duke of Cambridge Stakes, will tackle the Group 1 Tattersalls Falmouth Stakes, a race O'Brien won with Alice Springs and Roly Poly in 2016 and 2017 respectively.

Magical, a three-quarter-length second to Enable in the Coral-Eclipse at Sandown on Saturday, will now have a break after taking in five races so far this term.

O'Brien said: "Magical has had a busy first half of the season and we're looking at giving her break and bringing her back for an autumn campaign."
