In true pre-Arc fashion, Gosden booked the Limekilns trial ground for his Longchamp big guns who made the most of the pristine strip next to the left disc when shining in their respective workouts just after 6.30am. Although mist enveloped the first two furlongs of the mile facility, Frankie Dettori's yellow cap was clearly visible scooting clear of smart handicapper First Eleven.
