The relentless rise of female riders in racing has been a joy to witness in recent seasons, with the likes of Bryony Frost, Rachael Blackmore, Lizzie Kelly and Josie Gordon lighting up the sport.

Quite rightly, this has attracted a great deal of media coverage and attention, with those writing about and broadcasting the sport keen to find out more about the jockeys and highlight their successes.
