Monday
Weekend entries will be revealed with all eyes on the Grade 2 32Red Silviniaco Conti Chase at Kempton, for which Altior is being aimed, as well as potentially Ryanair hero Frodon.
Calix Delafayette (3.15) and Mcgowan’s Pass attempt to defy long layoffs in the feature 2m handicap hurdle at Ayr, while jumps action also takes place at Chepstow.
The evening action comes from Wolverhampton, where former Cambridgeshire winner Dolphin Vista (7.15) is one of four runners in the 1m1½f conditions stakes.
Tuesday
Britain’s hunter chase season begins at Taunton with Foxhunter winner Hazel Hill (3.30) and Aintree specialist Ultragold among the entries. Lingfield stages jumps action in the afternoon and Southwell hosts an evening meeting on the Fibresand.
Wednesday
Two fast-track qualifiers are the most exciting races of the day on the all-weather at Newcastle. Corinthia Knight, Good Effort and the progressive Hareem Queen are intriguing entries in the 5f event (2.30), while Fox Power, Via Serendipity and recent Southwell winner Raydiance could feature in the mile race (3.00).
The sole jumps meeting takes place at Ludlow and there is more all-weather racing at Kempton in the evening.
Thursday
Listed action is at Leicester where the £30,000 Charnwood Forest Mares’ Chase over two miles attracts eight entries, including eight-time winner The Bay Birch (2.15) and the lightly-raced Zambella.
Sue Smith has landed the last four runnings of the North Yorkshire Grand National at Catterick and could bid for a fantastic five-timer with 2018 winner I Just Know (2.40). Rivals could include Little Bruce and Doing Fine.
Clonmel hosts a jumps card in Ireland with all-weather afternoon action at Newcastle and evening racing at Chelmsford in Britain.
Friday
Leading Triumph Hurdle contender Goshen (2.45) bids to strengthen his Cheltenham Festival credentials in the Weatherbys Chatteris Fen Juvenile Hurdle at Huntingdon – a race won by Sceau Royal in 2016.
Sedgefield hosts the other jumps meeting and Lingfield offers an all-weather card in the afternoon, while Wolverhampton stages all-weather action in the evening.
Saturday
Nicky Henderson has won three of the four runnings of the 2m4½f Silviniaco Conti Chase at Kempton and attempts to strike again with Altior (2.05), with the Grade 2 contest followed by the Unibet-sponsored Lanzarote Hurdle (2.40).
The Warwickshire Classic Handicap Chase (3.00), Ballymore Leamington Novices’ Hurdle (2.25) and Hampton Novices’ Chase (1.50) are the highlight events on a high-quality card at Warwick, while the Dan and Joan Moore Memorial Handicap Chase (2.10) takes centre stage at Fairyhouse.
Wetherby completes the jumps action on offer with Lingfield hosting all-weather racing in the afternoon and racing takes place under the lights at Chelmsford in the evening.
Sunday
There is Graded action at Punchestown with the Grade 2 Sky Bet Moscow Flyer Novice Hurdle – won last year by Felix Desjy – and the Grade 3 Total Event Novice Chase, in which Winter Escape beat A Plus Tard in 2019.
Jumps racing at Kelso and an all-weather meeting at Southwell are on offer in Britain.
