Altior and Put The Kettle On to clash at Sandown but Tiger Roll stays home
Altior will face a maximum of six rivals including Queen Mother Champion Chase winner Put The Kettle On in Saturday's Grade 1 bet365 Celebration Chase at Sandown.
But dual Grand National hero Tiger Roll will not feature on the card in the Grade 2 bet365 Oaksey Chase, in which just four will go to post headed by King George winner Frodon, who will be partnered by Bryony Frost.
Altior has been seen just once this season, when runner-up to Nube Negra in the Desert Orchid Chase at Kempton in December, and is bidding to win the Celebration Chase for a fourth time.
Put The Kettle On is one of two runners for Henry de Bromhead, and travels to Sandown rather than taking on Allaho, Chacun Pour Soi and Nube Negra at next week's Punchestown festival.
The star mare will be joined by stablemate Ornua, while the Paul Nicholls-trained pair of Dolos and Greaneteen, Nuts Well and Sceau Royal complete the field.
Earlier this week Nicholls confirmed Clan Des Obeaux would head to Punchestown rather than contest the bet365 Gold Cup.
Plan Of Attack, also trained by De Bromhead, features among a field of 16 for the £115,000 Grade 3 handicap chase, with primary rivals Enrilo, Kitty's Light, El Presente and Potterman all standing their ground.
