I have been so involved in getting Solar Deity ready that it was news to me North Korea had carried out another nuclear missile test.

Here in South Korea I have not even put the television on in my room since arriving. Our normal working hours are all askew. I get up at 2.50am to catch the 3.30am bus out to the track and get back to the hotel at about 8am, sleep till 1pm, then get back on the 3pm bus to get out to the track again for afternoon stables. I won't be back at the hotel till 7pm.

On the track there have been no fireworks yet from Solar Deity who remains in good order. He went for a gentle canter over seven furlongs out on the main track on Friday morning. I have weighed him and all that is good and he is still eating and drinking absolutely fine.
