Aintree to water overnight ahead of sunny and breezy conditions for National day
More water was set to be applied to the track overnight at Aintree ahead of the Randox Grand National.
Clerk of the course Sulekha Varma said: "We are going to put 6mm on everything. The forecast is for it to be very similar to today – dry overnight then a sunny and breezy day."
The going was officially good to soft on the National course on Friday night, good to soft and good in places on the Mildmay course.
