Advertise the headline act of a bloodstock portfolio which spreads worldwide
The bloodstock interests of Phoenix Thoroughbreds have been highlighted the world over in the last few weeks, demonstrating the scale of its investment and ambitions.
Most significant was the news revealed by the Racing Post about Advertise, who was added to the National Stud’s roster for next year.
He has essentially been the flagbearer for the organisation to date, and is its most obvious equine asset. The colt won on his debut in the colours of trainer Martyn Meade’s Manton Estate Ltd before switching to the Phoenix silks, finishing second to Calyx in the Coventry Stakes and later collecting a hat-trick of Group 1s in the Phoenix Stakes at two, and in this year’s Commonwealth Cup and Prix Maurice de Gheest.
