Ollie Sangster's new gallop is just days from being completed, whetting the 25-year-old's appetite for the challenge ahead as he begins the countdown to becoming the first of the famous racing family to start training.

Sangster's grandfather Robert was an influential owner-breeder, who in partnership with Coolmore supremo John Magnier, dominated European Flat racing for nearly a decade from 1975.

The family have maintained an interest in the sport despite his death in 2004 and Sangster is preparing to take that a step further with just three courses to complete before he gets his training licence.
