2022 Glorious Goodwood tips: Thursday's best bets from our Racing Post experts
Day three of Glorious Goodwood is here - but who do our top tipsters fancy most?
Le Beau Garcon
By Robbie Wilders
Race: 4.45 Goodwood (World Pool Handicap)
Odds: 7-1
I like a high draw over the minimum distance at Goodwood and Le Beau Garcon is the one to support in the 5f handicap from stall 14. This Brazen Beau gelding didn't seem to get home over 6f in a hot 19-runner handicap at Newmarket's July meeting last time, but ran well in seventh and served notice he remains in good form. His Racing Post Ratings were progressive before that and the handicapper has dropped him 2lb in the ratings.
Asaassi
By Kevin Morley
Race: 1.50 Goodwood (Coral Kincsem Handicap)
Odds: 6-1
The vote goes to Asaassi, who meets all criteria. He won with a bit in hand on his handicap debut at York last time and remains reasonably treated off a mark of 90. Asgoodassobergets is the other one to meet all trends. A repeat of his latest Royal Ascot second should ensure he finishes thereabout.
Royal Scotsman
By Paul Kealy
Race: 2.25 Goodwood (Richmond Stakes)
Odds: 13-8
Took really well to this course when scooting up by five lengths on his second start, and bettered that form with an excellent third in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot. That race looks well up to standard on the evidence so far as the runner-up has since won the Group 2 July Stakes at Newmarket and the fourth took the Group 2 Prix Robert Papin at Chantilly, and Royal Scotsman is very much the one to beat.
Thursday previews:

3.00 Goodwood: Which horse has leading trainer Charlie Appleby 'always held in high regard'?
3.35 Goodwood: Can she improve again? Nashwa all the rage for Nassau, but this is no tap-in
5.05 Galway: 'This has been on my mind for a while' - Galway Hurdle insight and quotes
