Front-running mare who should be able to dominate in this three-runner field and is well worth a second look at the prices. The likely outsider of the trio, Same Circus has been competing against improving rivals over hurdles so far this campaign but reverts to fences in a race she won two years ago with a late flourish. This appears to have been her target and although she has ground to make up on Molly Childers from a run last season at Cheltenham, that rival can belt a few fences on her way around, while Alohamora has a big rise in the weights to overcome.

Former pointer (0-9 in that sphere) who is winless in 12 starts under rules but showed dramatic improvement on his latest outing when looking like the winner for much of the contest. Barry Murtagh's runner travelled powerfully over this course and distance before jumping well to hit the front in the straight and stretch clear. He traded at short odds before ploughing through the last and ultimately being outstayed by a more fancied rival. Elixir was probably sent for home too early that day and a more conservative ride could see him break his duck off just a 1lb higher mark with quicker conditions likely to be in his favour.
