Leading owner-breeders Bill and Tim Gredley scale back with part dispersal

Group 1-winning father-son pair set to sell more horses to overseas markets

Bill and Tim Gredley have become the latest major owner-breeders to reveal their intention to scale back their breeding and racing interests, with their Stetchworth & Middle Park Studs operation staging a part dispersal at the upcoming Tattersalls December Sale.

Bill Gredley, chairman and founder of the Unex Group, bred and raced Group 1 winners such as Environment Friend and User Friendly during the 1990s, and now races with his son Tim.

In more recent times, the father and son's distinctive yellow colours with black-striped sleeves and white cap have been carried by the likes of homebred stars Big Orange and Pretty Pollyanna.
