Goffs UK's 60th Doncaster Spring Store Sale catalogue has been hailed as "the finest catalogue produced" with 313 stores set to be offered on May 16-17, including lots by sires such as Blue Bresil, Buck's Boum, Flemensfirth and Walk In The Park.

Among the standout lots are Worthen Hall Stables’ Walk In The Park half-brother to Listed bumper winner Didtheyleaveuoutto (lot 127); Glebe Farm's Buck's Boum half-brother to Ascot Chase hero Balder Succes (11); Galbertstown Stables' Bullet Train half-brother to Irish Grand National hero Freewheelin Dylan (18); the Rathmore Stud-consigned Blue Bresil gelding out of Jane Seymour Mares Novices' Hurdle winner and Grade 1-placed Jessber's Dream (42); and Worthen Hall Stables' Flemensfirth gelding out of the top-class Petite Parisienne (120).

Other notable lots include Vanquish Bloodstock's Getaway gelding out of the Grade 1-placed Shadow Eile (147); Mark Grant's Blue Bresil half-brother to Whisperinthebreeze (153); and Lulham Bloodstock's Champs Elysees half-brother to The New One (185).

The sale will offer lots 1-150 on Monday, May 16 from midday and lots 151-313 on Tuesday, May 17 from 11am. The Spring Horses in Training/P2P Sale will be held on the following two days after the Spring Store Sale.

Goffs UK managing director Tim Kent said: "This year shapes as a big year for the sale and we are very confident in the quality of horses we are going to be offering in May.

"Last year we aggressively expanded the sale, taking our numbers up to 300 horses and moving to two-days and it was a huge success so our goal for this year is to build on that growth and we feel we have the catalogue to achieve that.

“The reception we received from breeders and consignors has been very positive, right from the outset, and our inspection teams have been impressed with the individuals they have seen. The sire line-up is strong and we have some outstanding pedigrees as well so we are very much looking forward to celebrating the 60th Spring Store Sale on May 16 and 17.”

All lots catalogued are eligible to enter in the Spring Sale Bumper, which makes a return to Newbury next year following a two-year absence due to Covid-19. The contest will have an increased prize fund of £100,000 as well as the introduction of the new Bumper Bonus prize scheme.
