BANKER

Searanger (4.30 Catterick)

Carrying a 6lb penalty for his success over course and distance a week ago, Rebecca Menzies's charge looks to have a great chance of following up in a race that will be run to suit. Pace angles Lackaday, Sir Geoffrey and Goadby are certain to go hard early and they could all fall into Searanger's lap inside the final furlong. Rowan Scott, who scored on the gelding when he was last aboard, takes over the ride.

DARK HORSE

(8.50 Leicester)

Not much winning form is on show in Leicester's finale with the eight-runner field combining for a record of five wins from 75 runs, and it could be one of the maidens who gets off the mark. One of two completely unexposed handicappers in the race, Chris Wall's Deciding Vote has shown limited ability in maidens to date, but could well be feasibly treated off a mark of just 56. He ran his best race last time out when trying to make all and a front-running ride could see him come home in front.

EYECATCHER

Perla Blanca (5.20 Lingfield)

An improving three-year-old filly who really should have won last time out when given a misjudged ride at Ffos Las. She was well backed into 5-4 favourite that day and connections clearly expected to be in the winner's enclosure, but she was sent for home far too early and got picked up by another improving sort – the pair 11 lengths clear of their rivals. Staying at 1m4f is ideal and Royston Ffrench takes over.
