Tom Segal with three bankers in the Chelmsford Placepot perm

The Chelmsford Placepot should be pretty straightforward to begin with as Qipao stands out in the opener (1.42) and Shouldering is going to leave her reappearance form a long way behind under Ryan Moore in the next (2.17).

The 2.52 is wide open and it's best to include a couple, headed by Glenn Coco, who has a great record at the track.

However, he ran badly on turf last time and comes with some risk. Consequently, I would include Too Shy Shy as she appeared to be running back into form over a mile here last time and will appreciate dropping back in trip.

Things get tougher from there, although Highfield Princess was so impressive at Royal Ascot and will surely hit the frame in the Listed race (3.27).

It's possible to make cases for loads in both of the last two handicaps.

Course-and-distance winner Bonnie Lad and the unexposed Shadow Angelshould run well in the 4.02, while EnduringandBaba Reza make most appeal in the sprint handicap (4.37).
