Lambourn: James Burn

Midnight Cowboy (3.40 Uttoxeter, nap)

Up 6lb for latest win, but has been in fine form through the spring and summer and should still be capable of hitting the target.

Others to follow
Uttoxeter 3.10 Mamoo.
Plumpton 2.20 Commanche Chieftain, 2.50 Little Windmill, 3.20 City Dreamer.

North: Colin Russell

Western Jo (1.40 Uttoxeter, nap)

Ran really well after a break on debut for current yard when runner-up in testing ground at Hexham. Still on a good mark and fancied to go one better.

West Country: Andrew King

Magical Thomas (4.50 Plumpton, nap)

Opened his account last time and expected to go close again as long as ground remains on the quicker side.

Others to follow
Uttoxeter 1.40 Anythinhmayhappen 2.40 Mondello 3.40 Degooch
Plumpton 1.50 Vancouver 4.20 Vital Evidence

Racing Post Ratings: Steve Mason

Knight Commander (3.10 Uttoxeter, nap)

Not disgraced behind a progressive sort at Fontwell latest and sound claims of resuming winning ways back in handicap company. Can race off only a pound higher mark than when chasing home a couple of subsequent winners over course and distance in July.

Topspeed: Dave Edwards

Quiet Reflection (4.00 Naas)

Lifted Royal Ascot's Commonwealth Cup before winning the Haydock Sprint Cup last season and although below par on reappearance in May, Karl Burke's filly can show her true colours today.

Longshot: Ed Quigley

It's A Gimme (3.40 Uttoxeter)

Inconsistent sort, but this lightly-raced ten-year-old should be suited by the trip, track and ground and cannot be ruled out off a mark of 132.

Ireland: Tony O'Hehir

Tithonus (4.30 Naas)

Won today's Joe McGrath Handicap at the Curragh a year ago and has added two more premier handicaps, including the Rockingham over today's five-furlong trip, at that track this season. Has won on all types of ground and the Denis Hogan-trained six-year-old makes plenty of appeal with 5lb claimer Killian Hennessy on board.
