Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's six meetings

Selections from Perth, Warwick, Beverley, Chelmsford, Tipperary and Kilbeggan

Thursday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Beverley

2.30: Evocative Spark

A quick turnaround after what looked quite a hard race is the slight worry with Evocative Spark but there's little doubt he's capable of winning off this mark. Ana Gold ran well in a decent Newmarket nursery on her final 2yo start and can pose the chief threat for a stable which is no stranger to success in this race. Andrew Sheret

Chelmsford

5.05 Light Up Our Stars

Brunel Charm is likely to go very well again but Light Up Our Stars appeared to win with plenty in hand over C&D two weeks ago and is still well treated on his old form. Good Humor remains of interest off 3lb lower than when successfully signing off for Roger Varian last autumn and is next on the list. Emily Weber

Kilbeggan

4.15 Faron

Mahons Glory sets the standard on form and should be in the mix again but he's becoming expensive to follow and preference is for the unexposed Faron. Joseph O'Brien's charge was useful on the Flat and there should be more to come from him in this sphere after a promising fourth on hurdle bow at Limerick last time. Phill Anderson

Perth

2.40: West To The Bridge

The Dan Skelton-trained West To The Bridge is in the form of his life and is taken to land a five-timer. The lightly raced 7yo No Risk Des Flos is chasing a hat-trick and is feared most, ahead of last-time-out Newcastle winner Big Bad Bear. Ben Hutton

Tipperary

5.00 Swift Flight

The ground will hold no fears for C&D maiden winner Swift Flight who started the new season with a lively display at the Curragh. Livingston Range and Pretty Boy Floyd should be in the mix, and the Ger Lyons import Blind Beggar can also make his presence felt. Alan Sweetman

Warwick

2.50: Let Me Be

Hyland holds major claims provided he copes with the drop back in distance, while Dalamoi is another 5yo who remains open to further progress. At the other end of the age scale, veteran Ashoka enters calculations on the back of his ready win last time. However, preference is for Let Me Be on his handicap hurdle debut and first start for Richard Newland. Hyland is the second choice. Steve Boow
