Signposts: Tom can storm home and follow up last year’s win

Stormin Tom is 10lb higher than when taking the 2.55 at Ripon last year, but has been in good form and showed that this mark is not beyond him last time.

It is normally offputting to see a hood on a debutant, but Tom Dascombe is 3-7 when applying the aid and the speedily bred Lola’s Theme (7.10 Wolverhampton) is worthy of interest.
