Signposts: Eddystone Rock looks a solid bet at Goodwood

David Simcock does well with his two-year-old debutants at Yarmouth (3-7), so Azezati is of obvious interest in the 1.40. She is speedily bred and her half-brother Mobsta went close on debut.

John Best is in blistering form (5-8), and his only runner on the day, Eddystone Rock, looks worth a punt in the 1.50 at Goodwood. He’s run well in plenty of top handicaps this year and has winning form on a soft surface.
