Tom Collins analyses the credentials of three favourites at Gulfstream Park

Golden Pal
6.15 Gulfstream Park
SP forecast 8-5

One of just four runners in this field to have raced before, Golden Pal represents the powerful Wesley Ward barn and showed blistering early pace on debut over this course and distance before being collared late. Wide draw shouldn't be a problem given fast start and recent work at Palm Meadows Training Centre was fantastic.

Conclusion Not a big fan of 52-year-old rider Edgar Prado (strange booking) but Golden Pal should lead from pillar to post.

Bimini
6.45 Gulfstream Park
SP forecast 2-1

Sharp juvenile in 2018 with a first-time-up score as well a win at allowance optional claiming company. Only raced twice as a three-year-old without success and winless in three outings this year. Been contesting much better races than this, though disappointed at short odds in claiming company last time.

Conclusion Sloppy track an excuse for latest defeat and I will give him another chance.

Twenty Four Seven
7.15 Gulfstream Park
SP forecast 2-1

Relatively lightly raced seven-year-old, who was thought good enough to contest the Grade 1 Arlington Million in August 2018. Ended a two-year drought without a win when a nose victor in claiming company here in March. Not as good last time and drawn wide here

Conclusion Not easy to see what will beat him but 2-1 is too short.
