The Punt Daily: Tom Collins' free horse racing tips on Thursday afternoon
BANKER
Bringing Glory (4.00 Southwell)
Unexposed four-year-old who showed little in novice company but hinted that an opening mark in the mid-50s was workable when he took fourth on handicap debut in late December. Bringing Glory was surprisingly dropped 2lb for that effort and appeared unlucky not to make the frame at Newcastle last time on his first start over 6f. Short for room on a number of occasions, Bringing Glory strikes as the type who will progress from his lowly rating and Theo Ladd's 3lb claim won't go amiss here.
EACH-WAY PLAY
Going Native (2.55 Southwell)
There's a fair chance that Going Native will continue a lacklustre spell of disappointing down-the-field efforts, but in a weak 0-55 handicap off a decent mark of 50, she's hard to ignore for each-way purposes at a nice price. The Olly Williams-trained six-year-old has recorded all three career successes at this venue, the most recent of which came off 10lb higher over this trip in March, as well as nine further places. Lion's Vigil and Drew Breeze set a decent level of form but Going Native may be the one to sneak into third place.
