Mick Channon's juvenile was stuck against the rail for a furlong in a pocket before seeing daylight late and running on powerfully to pinch the runner-up spot. Natural improvement should make her extremely difficult to beat.

With just the dead eight runners in this year's edition of the Group 3 Sovereign Stakes, it is worth looking for an each-way angle and the most overpriced runner in the forecast market is Beat Le Bon. Withdrawn from an engagement at Glorious Goodwood last week, Beat Le Bon is a classy colt on his day, as he proved when plundering the Golden Mile off a mark of 104 last year. He appeared to need the run on his return at Ascot in June and hopefully he can bounce back to form and make the frame.
