Verdana Blue, who is fit from the Flat, is clearly the horse to beat in here but she's had hard races in the Ascot Stakes and Ebor, the latter on unsuitable ground, and I want to oppose her at the prices. I'm with last year's winner Silver Streak, who boasts hurdling form figures of 111211316 when returning to track after a break of 52 days or more and should be pretty ready to make an impact. He beat a sub-par field in this race last year but did it very nicely and looks the value play.
