Carrying top weight of 10st in this handicap will be no easy task but after three lesser efforts to start the season, he returned to form at Lingfield last time. He ultimately hung his chance away that day and the fact he finished as close as he did signalled that his time was likely near. Second off 2lb higher on his last visit to Epsom, he is difficult to look past in this contest.

Precisely(8.08 Newbury)

Returning from a 121-day break at Wetherby last time, Precisely ran a big race from an awkward draw, doing all her best work late over the mile to pinch second. Stepping up to 1m2f today will certainly suit her and she remains unexposed over this sort of trip. She sits just 2lb above her last winning mark and with a strong pace seeming likely in this field, we should see the best of the John Butler-trained mare.
