Lingfield Placepot picks: Paul Kealy has two bankers to close out Friday's perm

Given the money on offer, the fields at Lingfield are a bit disappointing, but at least the racing is competitive and we'll probably need a couple to get through the opener (12.50) in the Placepot.

and Game On For Glory arguably set the standard, but they represent the same form line, so we will ditch the latter and include heavy-ground winner for Harry Fry, whom I expect to have a good day.

If Fry's can win a handicap at Punchestown off 122 she can win one in Britain off 127, so she's a must for the next (1.20). That Irish success was over 2m4f and she hasn't run at the trip since.

Back on a left-handed track, Legends Ryde is the other one of interest in that.

and are my two against hot favourite Eclair D'Ainay in leg three (1.50), while I'll take a chance with out-of-form and mud-loving chaser in the next (2.25).

If jumps as well as he did last time in the fifth leg (3.00) he really ought to make the first two, so I'll risk banking on him, and will also bank in the last (3.35) because looks chucked in based on his form on deep ground.
