The ground has eased considerably at Salisbury but that is only a positive for Fleurman in the concluding 1m6f handicap. This progressive stayer gained a first win over 1m4f on good to soft ground at this track in May then posted a career-best Racing Post Rating in similar conditions when second at Doncaster last time. That form was boosted this week when third-placed Prison Break, who finished four and three quarter lengths behind Fleurman, won on Town Moor. This Ralph Beckett-trained three-year-old faces some in-form rivals but is very much the one to beat.
