Saturday's free racing tips: Racing Post experts with their best bets of the day

Handicappers' nap

Trincomalee (1.30 Leicester)

Has placed in decent company on both starts over hurdles to date and this looks like a good opportunity for him to lose his maiden tag.
Steve Mason

West Country nap

Thyme Hill (3.00 Newbury)

Has stamped himself a young hurdler out of the top drawer and can make it a hat-trick of recent victories.
Andrew King

Eyecatcher

Frau Georgia (12.45 Catterick)

Caught the eye when making ground from the rear last time but that effort took its toll in the home straight. It was a pleasing start to her career over hurdles and one she can definitely build upon.
Raceform

Irish angle

Tout Est Permis (12.50 Leopardstown)

Runner-up over this trip at Navan three weeks when switched back to hurdles and the Noel Meade-trained six-year-old can go one better here.
Tony O'Hehir

Ace tipster

Ballyellis (3.15 Leicester)

Has been in good form over further but doesn't lack speed and might be suited by the drop to 1m7½f on heavy ground. He is only 3lb higher than when a good second at Hereford last time and can go one better.
Graeme Rodway

Speed figures

The Cashel Man (3.00 Newbury)

Routed his rivals in a handicap over course and distance a month ago and his speed figure suggests he can make his mark in this higher grade.
Dave Edwards

Spotlight nap

Copperhead (2.25 Newbury)

Ended last term winning two handicap hurdles and he scored again on his second run over fences at Wincanton. He's up 9lb for that effort but left a positive impression and looks an excellent prospect.
Richard Austen

Dark horse

Ministerforsport (2.50 Limerick)

Put paid to his chances with a terrible blunder last time but had some smart form prior to that, including a four-length third to A Plus Tard. He can make his presence felt now handicapping.

Must-have stat of the day

Micky Hammond's only two runners in jumps races at Leicester in the last three seasons both won (+£11.33 to £1 level stakes). He goes for three in a row with Knocknamona in the 2m4f handicap chase at 2.40.
