Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's six meetings

Warwick, Kempton, Wetherby, Lingfield, Chelmsford and Fairyhouse picks

Saturday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Chelmsford

6.15: Almaan

This can go to the lightly raced 4yo Almaan, who got off the mark with a clearcut win over C&D last week and has plenty of scope for further progress. The main danger is Agent Of Fortune, who was runner-up from a tough draw in his bid for a double at Kempton on Wednesday and should give it another good shot off a similar mark here. Third choice is dual C&D winner Jenson Benson, who ran into a handicap blot over 1m4f last time and looks interesting back at this trip.
David Moon

Fairyhouse

2.32: Daily Present

Some sub-plots here and one or two are worth watching for future reference. Having run a cracker on his hurdles debut at Naas last month, Daily Present can get off the mark here at the principal expense of Amirite and Prevaricate.
Justin O'Hanlon

Kempton

1.32: Champagne Court

The progressive Kap Auteuil will be a tough nut to crack. However, he may well find it hard to concede 8lb to Champagne Court, a useful novice two seasons ago who has regained his mojo over hurdles this winter.
Jonathan Neesom

Lingfield

1.10: Intervention

A race that revolves around Intervention, who had a bit more in hand than the winning margin suggests at Wolverhampton on Monday and will be tough to beat off the same mark if showing up in similar form. Split Elevens (second choice), Clashaniska and Rainbow Mirage can fight it out for minor honours.
Andrew Sheret

Warwick

3.00: Corach Rambler

Lucinda Russell won this in 2017 with subsequent Grand National winner One For Arthur and has another highly promising staying chaser in Corach Rambler. The very lightly raced 8yo appeared to idle in front when winning at Cheltenham last month and could have plenty more left in the locker. Fellow novice Gericault Roque has also shown considerable promise this season and today's step up in trip may prompt further improvement. He's second choice ahead of the in-form 11yo Head Of The Stars, then Padleyourowncanoe on his second outing for Dan Skelton. Achille and Minella Encore could also go well.
Ben Hutton

Wetherby

2.47: Haafapiece

Form-figures of P709 hardly inspire confidence, but last year's winner Shannon Bridge is dangerous from a falling mark and with blinkers refitted. However, preference is for the likeable Haafapiece who was narrowly denied here last time and can compete off the same mark. Cases can also be made for topweight Ballyandy and another course winner, Solo Saxophone.
