Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's six meetings

Best bets from Beverley, Chelmsford, Exeter, Kilbeggan, Perth and Warwick

Thursday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Beverley

4.25: Sword Beach

Top of the list is Sword Beach (nap), who was a close third in similar conditions at Leicester on his seasonal return and is on the same mark here. Another to consider is six-time turf winner Mythical Madness, who perked up with a third on Tapeta 17 days ago and is well handicapped if he can build on that.
David Moon

Chelmsford

8.15: Glenn Coco

Most can be given a shout but the one who appeals most is Glenn Coco (nap), who had plenty on his plate with subsequent Nottingham scorer Hundred Isles over 1m here last time and can go one better back at the trip over which he's gained six of his seven wins. Global Esteem ought to find this easier than the Spring Mile and may give the selection most to think about.
Andrew Sheret

Exeter

6.25: Art Approval

Under the circumstances Art Approval (nap) did well to win here last time out and he has more to offer stepping up in trip slightly with Gallow Ford and Trans Express likely to ensure they go a decent pace. Coal Stock also looked to have a bit more to offer when winning his recent stable debut and he is second best, ahead of Gallow Ford.
Stuart Redding

Kilbeggan

6.35: Midnight It Is

Joey Dunne's 7lb claim is a factor in giving the vote to Midnight It Is (nap) who has shown potential in recording second placings at Punchestown and Cork. The long-absent Kottayam has to be taken seriously, while Barncroft should not be judged harshly on his Navan run. Skol has shown some ability. Master Mattie and Dicebox comes from good homes.
Alan Sweetman

Perth

2.20: Isaac Wonder

Little prospect of this being slowly run. Sao may yet prove able to translate his best work over galloping tracks on slow ground to this different sort of test, but previous gains from off the pace at Warwick and Southwell confirm Isaac Wonder (nap) has no such questions to answer on that score, and a clear round can secure the spoils for just Michael Scudamore's third runner at Perth in the last five seasons. Licklighter is preferred of the remainder.
Jeremy Grayson

Warwick

2.30: Gouet Des Bruyeres

There should be more to come from the youngster Gouet Des Bruyeres (nap), who has shown improvement back on good ground the last twice. Second choice is Elisezmoi, who gives the impression this sharp 2m will suit. Darling Du Large and Larch Hill are also respected.
Steve Boow
