Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's seven meetings

Saturday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Chester

4.45: Street Life

King Of Tonga should continue to go well and the new headgear won't have to have a major effect to see him on the premises. Albegone and Jack The Truth are others to consider but Street Life may well prove the answer. He was badly drawn here last time but had been knocking on the door previously and has landed stall one today.
Paul Smith

Curragh

4.20: Rumbles Of Thunder

A few soft ground performers here will be hoping that the rain arrives on time, none more so than last year's Irish 2,000 Guineas winner Mac Swiney. The consistent Bear Story and this year's Irish 2,000 Guineas fifth Duke De Sessa have definite chances, but preference is for Rumbles Of Thunder, who impressed in a Listed at Gowran last month and looks ready to take this step up in class.
Justin O'Hanlon

Doncaster

9.00: Noteable

Raydoun swept through the field to win stylishly over course and distance a fortnight ago but there are no guarantees this smaller-field event will unfold in the same way. Ready preference is for unexposed filly Noteable, who was making her seasonal reappearance when third in that race and could easily have a lot more to offer.

Lingfield

8.45: Seal Of Solomon

Sun Festival has finished runner-up in Polytrack handicaps in his last two starts and should make another bold bid but preference is for Seal Of Solomon, who has been a big improver since switched to handicaps in his last two runs and never looked in any real danger after kicking clear over course and distance last time. Others who could be dangerous are Morani Kali and Night Eagle.
David Moon

Newcastle

4.38: Boosala

The progressive Biggles isn't opposed lightly but Boosala was a big eyecatcher when finishing strongly for second at the Chester May meeting and can now gain compensation. The Attorney under Benoit de la Sayette looks best of the rest.
Andrew Sheret

Newmarket

1.30: Ashky

Bottomweight Ashky looks nicely treated on her effort at the Craven meeting in April and she remains open to progress. D Day Odette, another handicap debutante, is second choice ahead of Improvise who may improve for the drop back to a mile. Alpha Cru is on a handy mark but she's a comparatively exposed four-year-old and not favoured by the trends, as three-year-olds have dominated this contest in recent years.
Steve Boow

Windsor

3.20: Tyrrhenian Sea

A good-quality renewal but one that could turn tactical with none of the four runners renowned for making the running. Modern News (second choice) and My Oberon are proven Group performers with strong claims in a Listed race. However, for all that Tyrrhenian Sea is facing his stiffest test to date, the potential is there for him to more than hold his own and dropping back to a mile should be just the ticket for this strong traveller.
