Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's seven meetings
Thursday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team
Doncaster
7.50: Art Dealer
In an interesting race the handicap debutant Art Dealer (nap), who is feasibly treated on his best effort, is taken to beat the in-form Tregony and the consistent Grantley
Colin Russell
Limerick
7.40: Bloodstone
Competitive race although quite a bit of dead wood. Top-weight Forgetthesurprise and Fire Love should be a lot closer together here than at Navan last month. China Princess and Balgowlah should not be far away, but there was a lot to like about the performance of Bloodstone (nap) in defeat at Kilbeggan last time and the step up to this trip is sure to suit.
Justin O'Hanlon
Leopardstown
4.25: Heart To Heart
There was an excuse for Heart To Heart (nap) on her first two starts and her more recent Naas third has been shown in a fairly attractive light by the winner in taking third in the Anglesey Stakes. Obliviate shaped quite well in a Dundalk barrier-trial. Dermot Weld's newcomer Kaliysta is potentially interesting. Limiti Di Greccio, from a small yard, showed promise on her first start.
Alan Sweetman
Naps table: daily tipping selections from national newspaper experts
Newbury
7.05: Miramichi
The progressive Miramichi (nap) has won his last two and is taken to complete the hat-trick. Classy Dame is a respected opponent, however, as she's unexposed on fast ground. The lightly raced Clay is another interesting contender having been gelded since his last run in January.
Ben Hutton
Sandown
2.45: Classic Lord
All of the runners arrive in decent form, especially Classic Lord (nap) who ran well in a bigger field over course and distance 20 days ago and has particularly solid claims. Roseabad is feared most but the other two cannot be dismissed.
Steve Boow
Worcester
2.20: Master Artist
Wasdell Dundalk looked good at the finish over course and distance last week but he found everything going his way in that race (strong pace) and there's no guarantee he'll deliver again. There should again be little between the pair of four-year-olds at the foot of the weights and both can be considered but Master Artist (nap) can prove he's up to this level after an easy selling win last month.
Jonathan Neesom
Yarmouth
4.50: Castana Dia
The one who stands out as a progressive sort in this line-up is Castana Dia (nap) who can go one better than at Newmarket back at the scene of her reappearance maiden win. Spirited Guest has a much better strike-rate on the AW but he has won over course and distance and looks the main danger.
